Hey, Lovies!

I am Chantel Clarke.

You may already know a good amount about me from my info page. But I have more to share with you lovies.

Welcome to my world

Why did I really start this blog?

I really wanted to start this blog due to a personal experience I had while practising in the Ob&Gyn speciality in summer 2018.

I came across a lot of women who struggled so much with their reproductive health.

Many expressed feelings of hopelessness and loneliness as they navigated their sexual and reproductive health issues and needs.

They wanted to ask questions but were too shy to do so. They thought that their doctors would judge them or look down on them

Some women were battling wars of pain from the Endometriosis army every day!

sad and depressed woman

I have seen women cry and become depressed over their chronic pelvic pain (CPP) syndrome.

They broke down to a level I couldn’t relate to. It was frightening!

So many women wanted to be ‘over and done with’ their reproductive organs and function, once it meant that the pain and worry would just stop.

Some even swore that they would kill themselves if they can’t get surgery to just take out their pelvic organs and be done with it all.

Now THIS is what it means to “hit rock bottom!”

….

I had to stop and take a moment…. I was getting so emotional.

This type of mindset should never be.

The pain and suffering that those women endured was very long and real. So many of them were battling their gynae problems since adolescence (teenage years)!

Every time I heard the next woman’s story, it broke my heart to see a woman just want to make the most delicate part of their body extinct and a shadow of the past at such a young age.

And, I mean really young…. Like women under 40 years old!

I mean, at that age, you lovies should be getting comfortable in your own skin and sexuality.

You should be ready to set the pace to enjoy an awesome healthy and sexy lifestyle for the rest of your days.

These experiences really nudged me to do something to put an end to those stories.

Hence, I am out here on the world-wide-web making my move toward making another woman’s life better.

All she (all those women) needed was the right information at the right time.

This is my goal and I won’t stop until I achieve it!

Her knowledge becomes her power

She didn’t need to be broken by a gynecological health problem. No woman should be!

These conditions are all treatable. They just need the correct management to ensure the best results.

They all needed knowledge – of who to speak to and what to do.

On this blog, your quest for knowledge will be satisfied.

In this day and age, information is easily accessible with the click of a button.

Fight back with more knowledge for power

So, why should YOU dwell in the ‘dark age’ any longer?

And, why should YOU suffer through your Ob&Gyn health problems any longer?

I want all women to get the right information which will equip and empower them to make the best health choices out there.

Toss out misconceptions

Here, you will find insight into your reproductive health needs and the correct information to start the right conversation with your doctor.

I came across a lot of women with so many misconceptions about their gynaecological health.

This caused them to make so many misinformed decisions which had affected their health in a very negative and often dreadful way.

If you have any clue of how many women have been affected by HPV infections, cervical cancer and pelvic inflammatory disease, then you know exactly what I mean by the word ‘dreadful’.

Don’t get caught in the darkness of ignorance!

Ignorance is NOT bliss!

Allow us to feed you information in an easily understood format.

Explained medical terms and simplicity are guaranteed for your benefit.

We can’t do this without YOU

I also want to learn from women across the world about their Ob&Gyn issues just as how you will learn from me.

Reading a generic textbook will never provide all the information needed to treat every, single woman an Ob&Gyn specialist comes across.

Hence, I won’t even try to do this on my own.

So, I need YOU to share your perspective with me and all the other women out there who may be too shy to ask.

They will be thankful that you did it for them!

This is your opportunity and the perfect platform to represent our gender.

Every woman has a role to play. The reason: one size will not fit all.

Remember, each woman is an absolute beauty: uniquely special and created differently from every other woman around.

So, now you know… My love for the Ob&Gyn speciality is not for myself but is my gift to share with the world. And YOU, lovies, are a part of my world.

Thanks, Lovies!

Have an exceptional day!

XOXO
