Hey, Lovies!

I am happy to be back in the game!

Its already been over a month since the start of 2019… and I hope you started the year right too.

There are 6 things you must do this year for your sexual health and I hope you have already made plans to get them done!

Getting a pap smear is on that list because it’s one of the ways we screen for cervical cancer.

Probably you are not fully aware of the implications of cervical cancer, and exactly why you should get screened.

If you are not, then that is okay…. Because, you are at the right place at the right time.

First, let me give you the ‘down-low’.

It’s second to breast cancer (my greatest enemy of all cancers).

This is one of the most dreaded cancers for young women across the world.

If you don’t already know, a cancer is a group of abnormal cells with the potential to cause terminal disease. These cells are mostly immortal hence their fatal potential. These cells have abnormal lifespan and function.

Scary, right?

It absolutely is! All cancers can scare the wits out of you!

I used to be scared! But I am no longer!

Why? I live by the principle

‘Her knowledge is her power’

CHANTEL CLARKE, MD

Each day, I educate myself to overcome my fears and dispel myths and lies so that I can live in truth with a bright hope for my future. You can too!

So, let’s you get started!

Series Content

In this series, I am going to tell you how this cancer could affect you and what you can do to PREVENT it.

Are you ready for it????

I sure hope you are!

P.S.  DO NOT GET STRESSED over it if you find that you are at risk for Cervical cancer. There is HOPE!

The first and simplest thing you can do is to start the conversation with your doctor so that you can start the screening process.

They will tell you about the screening process and how you can understand the most about it so that you won’t have to face any unnecessary anxiety.

Do you like the sound of that???

GREAT!

This is what we are going to be sharing with you….

How to start this series

Do you need a bit of perspective though?

That is fine, because some women don’t understand how gripping an encounter with cervical cancer can be. But I sure do.

I think you should start by reading my story. See what happened to me when I first came to know about this cancer and how my situation turned out.

You can click this link —-> Spotlight: My First Encounter with Cervical Cancer.

There you go lovies! Stay tuned!

XOXO
